A history of Christ the King Church.

Christ the King Church began almost four decades ago in a small brick chapel with one pastor and six core families. Within a year of our official formation, the Sunday School classes outgrew the limited facilities and the congregation moved to a new site - a renovated goat barn, as well as an old chicken coop and tool shed which were converted into a youth space.
As the years progressed, the church and its facilities continued to expand and the present Sanctuary was dedicated in 1977. Christ the King has a rich history in the charismatic renewal movement of the late 70s and early 80s. It has been instrumental in introducing many people to a greater experience of the Holy Spirit and an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
We pray that God will continue to bless His world through Christ the King as we follow His Spirit and advance His Kingdom through the sharing of the Gospel.
